Founded in 1974 as Randers Engineering, Sidock Group has grown into a full-service engineering and architecture firm with a strong regional presence. What began as a small team serving the chemical industry in Muskegon, Michigan, has expanded into a multi-disciplinary firm with offices across Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Florida.

For over five decades, Sidock Group has evolved from a specialized engineering firm into a comprehensive provider of engineering and architectural services. - 1991 – Detroit-area office opens to serve the chemical industry
- 1994 – William A. Sidock joins as Director of Detroit operations
- 2000 – Randers rebranded as Sidock Group, Inc., headquarters moves to Novi, MI
- 2005 – Sidock Systems, LLC founded for control systems and fabrication
- 2008 – New LEED Silver facility for Muskegon office; Wyandotte office opens
- 2010 – Novi headquarters relocated after renovation by Sidock Properties
- 2012 – Lansing office opens, specializing in gas utilities
- 2013 – Gaylord office opens, expanding architectural services in Northern Michigan
- 2015 – Sault Ste. Marie office opens, expanding surveying services
- 2022 – Lansing office celebrates 10 years
- 2023 – Gaylord office celebrates 10 years
