Dave Bussell of the Novi Office mentored 6th, 7th and 8th grade teams from River Rouge STEM Academy for the 2017 ESD Michigan Regional Future City Competition in Novi on January 23rd at the Novi Suburban Collection Showcase. This Year’s Theme was “The Power of Public Spaces” and the teams were challenged to design their Future City to include a distributed network of innovative, multiuse public spaces that serve their city’s diverse population. The RR STEM Academy 6th grade team was awarded the “Pursuit of Excellence” award. Their entry was presented by Zyaire Russaw, DeKaezja Nelson, and Shane Brown, featured here with Dave.
