1974
The company is established in 1974 as Randers Engineering by three chemical engineers in Muskegon, Michigan who serviced the chemical industry.
1991
The Detroit area office of Randers Engineering opens in 1991 to aid in servicing the chemical industry on the east side of the state.
1994
William A. Sidock joins Randers Engineering to serve as Director of its Detroit area operations.
2000
Randers Engineering is purchased and rebranded as Sidock Group, Inc. The company moves its headquarters to Novi, Mi and the firm consists of 38 professionals in 2 offices.
2005
Sidock Systems, LLC is founded to provide control systems fabrication and construction services.
2008
Sidock Properties designs and constructs a new, LEED Silver facility for the Muskegon, Michigan office. Sidock Group's Wyandotte office opens through the acquisition of a 50 year-old architectural firm.
2010
Sidock Group moves into their new headquarters in Novi, Michigan after the building's renovation is completed by Sidock Properties Novi.
2012
Sidock Group's Lansing office opens through the hiring of several key personnel holding expertise in the gas utility market.
2013
Sidock Group's Gaylord office opens when a well-respected architect familiar with northern client needs joins the firm.
2015
Sidock Group's Sault Ste. Marie office opens through the acquisition of a surveying firm which had been established in 1981. The office is intended to work closely with that of Gaylord.
2018
Sidock Group is a broad-based engineering, architectural, consulting, and project management firm with over 160 professionals in 9 offices.
